NeXus 2026 is not a typical Scouting training course. You will spend time learning, by DOING, along with expert consultants in each area being presented. Each participant will have the opportunity to engage in at least 10 challenging activities, network with experts and other youth and adult leaders.
Each of the three course days will be filled to the brim with high-adventure activities, learning and experience that you will enjoy, but will also be attainable. You will work alongside other members of your small team to complete each challenge.
At the end of the course, you will be given a resource guide to help you take the adventure back to your unit, district or council to invigorate your own youth-led Scouting program.
Each activity area is led by an expert in their field, be it search & rescue, expedition planning or any of the numerous high-adventure possibilities.
As we refine the schedule, expect to see more bio information for each of the consultants who will be leading and guiding the high-adventure activities on this course.
NeXus is designed to challenge you by providing you with three days of high-adventure activities to learn (or re-learn) with skilled experts and exposure to the planning, equipment and practice necessary to deliver a high quality outdoor adventure program in your unit, district or council.
